After Mick moved to the US he joined the Long John Baldry band and teamed up once again with old band mate Roy Young. Mick stayed with the band for several years, touring the USA as well as Canada many times and earning a gold album for his work on the "Baldry's Out" album which produced the #1 Canada single "Thrill's a Thrill" and which also produced a top 40 single in the US and #5 single in Australia for "You've lost that loving feeling".  Sadly Long John Baldry passed away in 2005.
